Smoked Brisket

Ingredients:
- 1 (4-5 pound) brisket
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions:
- Combine the paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a
small bowl. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (110°C).
- Place the brisket in the smoker and smoke for 6-8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches at least
190°F (88°C).
- While the brisket is smoking, combine the apple cider vinegar and beef broth in a small saucepan and bring
to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and let cook until reduced by half, about 10-15 minutes.
- When the brisket is done, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing
against the grain.
- Serve the sliced brisket with the reduced vinegar and broth mixture spooned over the top.
